Couture Fashion Week: an overview.

I've greatly enjoyed spending the last few days going through each designers collection for Paris Couture Fashion Week for Autumn/Winter 2011/2012. There's definitely some great trends that can be interpreted for everyday wear in interesting and very individual ways.

There's of course certain collections that I personally liked a lot more then others but it's still so interesting to see all the looks from all the collections and to see the overall trends from each collection.

I feel that there's a lot of 1920's inspiration coming through in a lot of collections, whether in the silhouettes, material used, the cut of the fabric, the detailing (such as heavily embellished details and use of fur) or even just the overall styling in the hair and make-up.

Below are just some quick overviews of all the collections shown at Paris Couture Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2011/2012, I'll be back later with thoughts on individual collections.
