Inspiring.

These images, a collaboration masterpiece between Jamie Beck and Kevin Burg are referred to as Cinemagraphs, capturing moments in not quite video nor photographic formats. Similar to the idea of stop motion animation where the subject is moved in small increments between individually photographed frames, creating the illusion of movement when the series of frames is played as a continuous sequence,yet again entirely different.

" The two artists began to experiment with this technique during the Milan Fashion Week, in February.The first approach was to sequenziare loop images in rapid succession. In subsequent attempts have instead attempted to capture a moment in time, isolating parts of the picture and making the movement more fluid. "

I find these greatly inspiring and can definitely see them breaking into the fashion photography industry more and becoming something fresh and creative, captivating viewers and drawing them into their realm.

these are example from the same collaboration yet breaking more so into fashion photography, the way it can capture the movement and feel of a garment without being a video is something that could become greatly powerful in online advertising for brands...
